Dave Murphy

Dave Murphy is the owner of Children’s Art Classes Park Ridge. He and his wife, Bridget, have proudly called the Park Ridge area home for more than 20 years, where they raised their three daughters and became deeply connected to the community.

As their daughters grew, Dave and Bridget often wished there was an art program that offered more than occasional projects. They were looking for a place where children could build real artistic skills through a thoughtfully designed curriculum that grows with each student, fostering creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Dave believes that art is a universal language. It gives children a way to express ideas, emotions, and imagination beyond words while developing critical thinking, perseverance, and self-confidence. The creative process nurtures academic, social, and emotional growth, helping children discover not only what they can create, but who they can become.

His vision for Children’s Art Classes Park Ridge is to create a warm, welcoming studio where every child feels encouraged, challenged, and inspired. Whether a student is picking up a paintbrush for the first time or developing advanced artistic skills, Dave hopes each child leaves feeling more confident, more creative, and excited to continue their artistic journey.
